With happiness for Dr. Morris, and some sadness for the remaining Veremedy team, we announce that Dr. Anita Morris will no longer be seeing patients at our veterinary offices. For some time, Dr. Morris has been offering expert ultrasound services to other veterinary offices in Vermont and New Hampshire. The demand for these services has grown to the point that Dr. Morris will be pursuing this niche market full time. It is a great career opportunity for Dr. Morris, and so we wish her all the best.
Fortunately, we will still be able to rely on Dr. Morris’ expertise since we will likely be calling her for our ultrasound needs on a weekly basis. The decision to leave our practice, and the patients and owners whom Dr. Morris served was very difficult. Still, it was the right decision, and we support it. See the notes below from Dr. Morris to her patients, clients, friends and coworkers.
Dear Veremedy Community:
It is with bittersweet feelings I write this letter. After nearly a decade serving as a general practitioner at Veremedy Pet Hospitals, I am leaving to work full-time with my veterinary diagnostics company, Animal Sound, LLC.
Clients, rest assured, I leave you in the capable hands of the Veremedy team. Their knowledge of the practice of veterinary medicine is exemplary, and their standard of care matches what you have come to expect from us all. In addition, a new doctor, Dr. Nellie Snider will be coming on board as well.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my time at Veremedy, about all the people I’ve encountered in my 9 and 1/2 years working here. I have learned something from each and everyone of you that has helped me become the doctor that I am today. Thank you.
I wish you all the best. And will miss seeing each and every one of you.
