A Regretful But Necessary and Temporary New Client Update

As the Covid-19 Pandemic persists, we find ourselves temporarily down a veterinarian.  It is a happy reason (maternity leave), but we regret to announce a TEMPORARY pause in scheduling NEW clients here at Veremedy Pet Hospital.
  • We are humbled and grateful to you– our devoted clients– for the trust you place in us in referring your friends, family, and neighbors and encourage you to continue to do so.
  • Temporarily, however, we have to pause scheduling appointments for new clients.  This in no way affects you– our established clients– or any new pets you should bring into your home.
  • Again, THIS IS ONLY TEMPORARY.
  • We will be resuming full appointment scheduling of new clients again when our veterinarian returns and we are back to full staffing.
  • We encourage new clients to call us to be put on a waiting list and then contacted in the near future.
This decision was not taken lightly, and we know we may disappoint some.  It may help if you understand our plight and how we arrived at this decision:
  • This is unprecedented in the history of the Veremedy Pet Hospitals, but these are unprecedented times.  Providing veterinary care while following health department guidelines during a Pandemic, along with the huge increase in pet ownership, finds us already busier than ever, with cumbersome Curbside Care protocols needed to keep everyone safe.
  • To this already challenging situation, add in a pregnancy leave. We are so happy for our pregnant, soon-to-be mom, but frustrated that despite an extensive search, temporary replacement vets are difficult to find in this Pandemic time.
Thank you so much for your patience and your continued trust in us, referring your friends and family as we strive to help as many pets and pet owners as we can!  Hope is in the air, and we will get through this difficult time together.
