Coping with Pet Loss
Pets are family and losing them can produce intense feelings of sadness. If you’re struggling with grief following the loss of your pet, you may find it helpful to:
- Give yourself time to mourn and cry
- Try to remember sweet or funny moments with your pet or look at old photos
- Talk about your feelings with family, friends, or even our hospital staff
- Memorialize your pet in a way that’s special to you
