Angela Burrington, DVM
Co-Chief of Staff
Angela Burrington is the Medical Director and co-Chief of Staff for the Veremedy Pet Hospitals. Angela grew up in New York City, but always planned to work with animals in a rural New England setting. Her dreams came true after graduating from Cornell Veterinary School in 1989 and moving to the Upper Valley area. Before helping her husband to found Veremedy, Angela worked for 8 years as a mixed-animal practitioner, treating both large and small animals. Exclusively a small-animal veterinarian since 1997, her professional interests include feline medicine and surgery, ophthalmology, and palliative care. Angela also enjoys treating small mammal patients such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and rodents. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, is a Certified Feline Friendly Veterinarian, and uses Fear Free handling techniques.
Angela and her husband Brad have raised two daughters. They share their home with an assortment of pets and farm animals. In her spare time, Angela enjoys hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, yoga, and exploring national parks.
